The Chair’s and Board Members of the BME London Landlords group came together
to celebrate the continuing success of their organisations working together in collaboration for over
six years since the formation of the group in 2017. There were presentations from Deputy Mayor of
London for Housing, Tom Copley, and Bashir Uddin Chief Exec. of Bangla Housing Association
about the trajectory of the community investment work since their award-winning BCAP
(Bangla COVID Advice Project), which has seen a number of statutory organisations (Local
Authorities , Housing LIN) wanting to work more closely with them because of their proximity to the
Bangladeshi community.
