On Thursday 25th November 2021 BMELL held its inaugural online staff conference, which sought to enhance the collaborations brand across members staff teams and encourage further cross-fertilisation at staff levels and provide solutions to housing service delivery and the issues faced by our organisations tenants and the wider communities where our organisations operate. In short, we wanted to bring staff teams together to recognise they were not working in isolation, but in a wider context of specialist housing provision.
The conference programme was specifically designed to deliver on the project objectives to optimize staff understanding of the history and dynamism of the BME Housing Sector, the BME London Landlords Collaboration, and the work of its members. With over 100 delegates attending the online staff conference, the evaluation highlighted that all of the objectives in terms of delivery and process were met. Extra value was derived from the collaborative process of planning and delivery, with Operation Directors from several member organisations being involved. Branded mugs sent out prior to the conference created anticipation for the event and enabled delegates to become invested prior to the conference. Below are links and videos of the conference content.
