Deputy Mayor of London for Housing Tom Copley, followed up an earlier meeting with BMELL members in September last year, with a meeting to discuss London’s Affordable Housing Programme 2021-2026 and the specific stipulations for bidders to be working with smaller housing associations and demonstrate improving performance as it relates to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Deputy Mayor, Tom Copley followed up on action points from the previous quarters meeting, and promised to seek to support BMELL members in connecting with larger Housing Associations and Deputy Mayor of London for Social Integration, Social Mobility and Community Engagement, Debbie Weekes-Barnard to explore work in the COVID economic and social recovery plans moving forward.
